Ben Sweet
Sweet is the current lead scorer for the Robertson County Black Devils, with 31 total points so far on the season. In the team’s first win against the St. Pat Saints, Sweet had 6 two-point field goals, and one three pointer for 20 points that game. Coming into his freshman year, he was Robertson County’s third most scoring player last season as an eighth grader, behind seniors Hunter Earlywine and Jacob Burden. Just starting out his high school career, Sweet is likely to be an integral part of the Black Devils for years to come.
Laci Burns
Fleming County senior Laci Burns is currently the Lady Panthers’ third most scoring player on the season, with 46 total points following their 58-52 win over Morgan County. Averaging 11.5 points per game, Burns is not far behind Ariana Adams and Ava Watson, as she looks to continue to improve her offensive strength. The former Lady Royal was Mason County’s second top scorer at the end of last season, totaling 230 points as a junior, averaging 8.2 points per game in 2022-23.
