Nine people arrested in Maysville last week during a joint federal, state and local drug bust appeared in Mason County District Court Tuesday.

Amanda McKenzie, 38, of Maysville, is charged with two counts of first-degree first offense trafficking in a controlled substance cocaine. She entered a not guilty plea to the charges before Judge Kim Leet Razor. A Aug. 6 pretrial hearing was scheduled in the case.

McKenzie remains in the Mason County Detention Center under a $10,000 cash bond.

Amy Vice, 37, of Maysville, faces a charge of first-degree first offense trafficking in a controlled substance cocaine.

She entered a not guilty plea during her initial court appearance. A pretrial hearing is set for Aug. 8.

In the meantime, Vice remains in MCDC with a $5,000 cash bond.

Bryeon Cortes Gibbs, 224, of Maysville, is charged with first-degree first offense trafficking in a controlled substance cocaine.

Gibbs entered a not guilty plea to the charge and will appear before Razor on Aug. 6 during a pretrial hearing. He is currently lodged in MCDC with a $10,000 cash bond.

Joseph Steward, 61, is also charged with first-degree first offense trafficking in a controlled substance cocaine. He too entered a not guilty plea to the charge and will next appear on Aug. 6 for a pretrial hearing.

Steward has been released from MCDC on a $5,000 surety bond.

William Slater Jr., 36, of Maysville, faces a charge of first-degree first offense trafficking in a controlled substance cocaine.

Slater entered a not guilty plea to the charge and is set to appear in District Court on Aug. 6 for a pretrial hearing.

He remains at MCDC under a $5,000 cash bond.

Jonathan Ray Fite, 28, of Maysville is charged with first-degree first offense trafficking in a controlled substance carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives.

Fite entered a not guilty plea to the charge and is scheduled to next appear in court on Aug. 6 for a pretrial hearing.

He is being held at MCDC with a $5,000 cash bond.

Anthony Cole Taylor, 54, faces two charges of first-degree first offense trafficking in a controlled substance cocaine.

He entered a not guilty plea to the charges during his first court appearance on Tuesday and is set to appear before Razor again on Aug. 6 for a pretrial hearing.

Taylor was released from MCDC on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

Toni A Muchrison, 35, of Maysville, is charged with two counts of first-degree second or greater offense trafficking in a controlled substance cocaine.

Muchrison entered a not guilty plea to the charges and is set to appear on Aug. 6 for a pretrial hearing before Razor. She is currently being held at MCDC on a 10 percent of $5,000 cash bond.

Kaylon L. Rouse, 32, of Maysville, is charged with first-degree second offense or greater trafficking in a controlled substance cocaine and convicted felon in possession of a handgun.

Rouse entered a not guilty plea to the charges on Tuesday and is scheduled to return to court on Aug. 6 for pretrial hearing.

He is currently being held in the MCDC on a $5,000 bond on each charge.

Dirk Dudley, 65, of Maysville, is charged with first-degree second offense or greater trafficking in a controlled substance cocaine.

Dudley entered a not guilty plea during district court Tuesday and will appear on Aug. 6 for a pretrial hearing.

He was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

No information is yet available on the identities or charges of others picked up on federal charges during the operation.
