The Maysville Younger Woman’s Club, in partnership with the Buffalo Trace Children’s Advocacy Center (BTCAC), has launched Adventure to Fun, a community-focused initiative designed to support local children and families in need.

The spark for Adventure to Fun began with an idea shared by Mason County Sheriff Ryan Swolsky, whose vision for a community-centered experience inspired the Maysville Younger Woman’s Club to bring the project to life. His commitment to the well-being of local children helped set the foundation for what has become a collaborative and impactful effort.

Adventure to Fun thrives on community collaboration. This initiative brings together local organizations, businesses, and families for a creative and meaningful approach to fundraising — one that encourages generosity, unity, and connection across Mason County and surrounding areas.

The Maysville Younger Woman’s Club extends sincere thanks to its Community Partners: Mason County Public Library, JBS Entertainment, El Caminante, Cafe Cream & MyLo’s, Dairy Queen Grill & Chill of Aberdeen, and Dairy Queen of Flemingsburg. Their support and participation have been instrumental in moving this project forward.

Deep appreciation is also extended to the project’s generous Business Sponsors: Stober Drives, First State Bank, Domino’s Pizza, People’s Bank of Kentucky, International Paper, McFarland Chevrolet, and Carmeuse. Their commitment to local impact continues to make a meaningful difference.

The Club further acknowledges the many local families and individual sponsors, as well as the Auction Sponsors (small businesses in Maysville and the surrounding area). Their dedication, kindness, and willingness to invest in the well-being of our local children are reflected in every aspect of the project.

“Adventure to Fun has given everyone a chance to make a difference – anyone can make a difference, no matter what they have to offer,” said Emily Heller, President of the Maysville Younger Woman’s Club.

“The Buffalo Trace Child Advocacy Center (BTCAC) would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the businesses and individuals who donated to or participated in the Maysville Younger Woman’s Club’s Adventure to Fun event. Your generosity and community spirit made this event a success and directly benefit the children and families served by BTCAC,” said Hope Burns, Executive Director. “Because of your support, BTCAC can continue providing critical services to children affected by abuse—helping them find safety, healing, and hope. Events like Adventure to Fun remind us of the power of community partnerships and how, together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children.”

“Thank you all for your time, support, and generosity, and for all that you do for our community!” concluded Grace Ellis, Community Outreach Coordinator.
