Saint Patrick Lady Saints senior, Lillian Klee, recently surpassed the 1,500 career point mark.

After scoring 38 points in the Lady Saints’ most recent loss to Williamstown on Saturday, Jan. 31 (55-45), Klee currently sits with 1,522 career points, not including her seventh-grade year, making her the fourth Lady Saint to surpass 1,500 points in program history.

Saturday’s game saw Klee go 12/38 in the field, hitting two out of eight 3-pointers and making eight out of 13 shots at the line. She also scored her first triple-double of the season, with 38 points, 10 rebounds and 12 steals.

This season, Klee leads the Lady Saints in every category, averaging 29.9 points per game with 33.9 percent accuracy; 18.4 percent beyond the 3-point line and 54.9 percent at the free throw line. Defensively, she has totaled 220 rebounds on the season, averaging 14.7 per game. Her total of 449 points has made her the No. 1 leading scorer in Kentucky high school girls basketball.

“She’s a workhorse,” said Lady Saints head coach, Isaac Klee. “She’s the main cog to our offense. I think she’s the best player in the district and one of the best players in the region. She has the brunt of the ball handling and the offensive load. She puts up a double-double every game. She’s a wrecking machine.”

Klee has had a standout senior year as a tough member of the 2025 Lady Saints volleyball team and the Saints’ go-to goalkeeper. She now enters the final few weeks of the 2025-2026 basketball season eager to continue leading her team.

The Lady Saints have just six games remaining on the schedule prior to the 2026 39th District tournament, beginning with a rematch against the Bracken County Lady Bears tonight at 6:30 p.m. Following that game, St. Pat will tip off against the Mason County Lady Royals for the first time this season on Thursday, Feb. 5, before hosting Clay (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Saturday, Feb. 7 and the Lady Royals again on Monday, Feb. 9.

Currently, St. Pat sits at just 1-14 on the season, but the Lady Saints are feeling confident in this season’s growth and are hopeful for a strong performance in the 39th District semifinals. Seeding for the tournament will be finalized following their second contest against the Lady Royals.

The 2026 girls 39th District basketball tournament will be held at the Mason County Fieldhouse on Feb. 23-26.
