MANCHESTER, Ohio — Darrell Wayne Osman Sr., 65, of Manchester died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at the University Hospital in Cincinnati.

He was born on May 3, 1944, in Monroe Township, Ohio, to the late Estel and Sarah Foster Osman. He was an Army veteran and was employed by A.B.C.A.P. for 22 years. He belonged to the Manchester Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Johnson Osman of Manchester; two sons, Darrell W Osman Jr. and Chad Osman, both of Rensselaer, Ind.; four daughters, Michelle Rayburn of Rensselaer, Ind., Amy Jo Howard of Rensselaer, Ind., Jennifer Thiel of Tulsa, Oka. and Lori Applegate of Amelia, Ohio; two brothers, Herbert Osman of Tempe, Ariz. and Marlin Osman of Seaman, Ohio; one sister, Ruby Baldwin of Manchester; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 28 at the Manchester Church of the Nazarene. Rev Tony Watson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at the church.
