Welcome to Pine Crest Farm!
If you have ever traveled Kentucky 10 between Germantown and Kentucky 9 AA Highway junction, then you have probably seen this lovely estate. Records indicate that it was built circa 1880 by William and Anna Cox, and the original farm was made up of 286 acres. However, there is a brick in the exterior front of the home that has 1844 etched into it.
A few years after it was built, the farm was sold to the Thompson Family, where it was passed down for around 80 years. It was named Pine Crest in the 1960s and is a lovely example of a central passage Federal style home. The home originally had three bedrooms and also has an inlaid limestone cellar in the rear.
The property is now owned by the Litzinger Family and is currently undergoing renovations.
