FLEMINGSBURG – Carl Vice, 79, of 335 South Lick Road, Hillsboro, died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at Fleming County Hospital. He was the widower of Marie Corbin Vice.
Mr. Vice was a farmer and a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the VFW.
He was born in Fleming County on Sept. 24, 1923, to the late Mansfield and Mary Moran Vice.
Surviving are a son-in-law, Kenny Hickerson; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Joyce Hickerson. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Amos, James and Clemmie Vice; and three sisters, Naomi Ramey, Inez Planck and Lucy Harmon.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Denton-Workman Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Frank Cannon will officiate. Burial will be in Long View Cemetery, Bethel.
Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
