FLEMINGSBURG — Arthur Dwight Hurst, 62, of Lafayette, Indiana died June 12, 2007, at his residence. He was born May 9, 1945 in Fleming County to the late Arthur D. and Esther Porter Hurst. He had lived in Lafayette since 1967 and where he worked as a fur buyer.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Stoker Hurst; two daughters, Sophia (Steve) Bailey of Millersburg, Ky., and Dawn (Louis) Caufield of Richmond, Ky.; two grandchildren Sara Beth and Tyler Bailey; one brother, Wayne (Betty) Hurst of Fleming County; three sisters, Naomi (Bill) Ballinger of Richmond, Ind., Lucille (Fred) Neal of Lafayette, Ind. and Sharon (Jerry) Stapleton of Mount Sterling, Ky. He was preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Hurst.
Services at 4 p.m. at the Wallingford United Methodist Church, Sunday, June 17, 2007. Bro. Jesse Hickerson Jr. will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Wallingford Cemetery.
Visitation 2-4 p.m., Sunday, June 17, at the church.
