MOUNT ORAB, Ohio | A morning crash on Thursday injured two drivers in Brown County.

According to Mount Orab Detective Jason Hahn, a Chevrolet passenger car being driven north on Bodman Road near Mount Orab, crossed Ohio 32 at the intersection and traveled into the path of a truck.

Katherine Pollard of Hamersville, Ohio, the driver of the car, was injured in the collision of the vehicles and airlifted to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The truck driver, David Federle of Mount Orab, was taken to Mercy Mount Orab Hospital by ambulance for non life-threatening injuries.

“I know he was treated and has been released,” Hahn said.

The condition of Pollard was not available, he said.

According to a witness statement, Pollard stopped at the intersection of Ohio 32 and Bodman Road, then proceeded across the eastbound lane and into the path of Federle in the westbound lane, Hahn said.

Both vehicles were only occupied by the drivers, and the accident is still under investigation, he said.
