CHILLICOTHE, Ohio | An Ohio Department of Transportation bridge repair project in Adams County has been delayed until spring.
A bridge repair project on Ohio 32 has been postponed until Spring 2016, officials said on Friday.
The project was to impact traffic by the Norfolk-Southern Railroad overpass, between Mendenhall Road and Plum Run Road, ODOT officials said.
Other projects are wrapping up, including on on Ohio 41, at the 5.89-mile marker, immediately north of Suck Run Road. The two-phase culvert replacement project is completed and traffic is passing normally, officials said.
Crews will have minor finishing work to complete; however, there should be little to no impact to traffic.
Other traffic issues in Adams County are:
– Ohio 125 is reduced to one lane between the Brown County line and Ohio 41 in West Union for resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation.
— Ohio 125 is also reduced to one lane between Frank Young and Satterfield roads, approximately 1.5 miles west of Ohio 348, for a slip repair project.
– -A minor realignment project is under way on Ohio 125 at the 0.34-mile marker, between the Brown County line and Kent Lane.
Currently, traffic impacts are minimal, and traffic is being maintained by flaggers as needed, ODOT officials said.
The projects are expected to be completed this fall.
