Seven people were indicted Friday by a Mason County grand jury on a variety of charges.
Marissa Danielle Tabor and Aaron Metcalf were both indicted on one charge of receiving stolen property in excess of $500 for allegedly being in possession of an ATV stolen from Anthony Steffen. The alleged offense occurred on or about July 2, 2012. Metcalf was also indicted on one charge of second-degree persistent felony offender.
Two men were indicted on allegations of falsifying information to obtain unemployment insurance benefits.
According to the indictments, John Travis Wheeler allegedly made false statements and failed to disclose material facts in order to obtain unemployment in the amount of $2,349 during a period of December 2009 to March 2010.
Michael Hodge is also charged with making false statements and failure to disclose material facts to obtain unemployment benefits in the amount of $12,205 during a period of June 2009 and February 2010.
Others individuals indicted include:
—Â Shannon Fetters, one count first-degree criminal mischief and theft by unlawful taking over $500 for damaging property and allegedly stealing furnishings and copper fittings from the property of Geneva Rigg.
— Gary Wayne Cunningham Jr., one count first-degree trafficking controlled substance heroin and second-degree persistent felony offender.
— Avord S. Hampton Jr., three counts first-degree wanton endangerment for allegedly firing shots at Judy Hampton, Avord Hampton III and Donald Ringler on May 19.
