BROOKSVILLE — Joseph “Joey” Jones, 46, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020.
He was born on Nov. 16, 1973, to Joe (Karen) Jones of Brooksville and Gwynne (Hamm) Clayton of Thurston, Ohio.
He was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. Joey will be remembered for his love of playing the guitar and was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan.
He is also survived by his daughter, Heaven Leigh Jones of Morehead; four sisters, Sonia L. (Aaron) Jones of Baltimore, Ohio, Tonia L. (Scott) Jones-Saluga of Independence, Christina S. (Robbie) Sapp of Maysville and Pam (Josh) Snapp of Union; and two brothers, Ray (Sarah) McCleese of Alexandria and Joe (Robin) McCleese of Independence.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Tom Clayton.
Due to COVID-19 services will be private for the family.
