Carter Roark
Roark pitched a complete game in the Mason County Royals’ 13-2 win over the Bracken County Polar Bears in the 39th District championship game. That game, he picked up nine strikeouts and gave up just three hits and three walks. Heading into the 10th Region quarterfinals, Roark has pitched 45.2 innings with 68 total strikeouts, 25 walks and an ERA of 3.07. He is also batting .316 with 24 runs and 26 RBIs on the season.
Kyndall Johnson
Johnson picked up a home run and batted in Kadence Thoroughman to score both of the Bracken County Lady Bears’ runs in their 3-2 loss to Mason County in the 39th District championship. On the season, she sits as the Lady Bears’ strongest hitter, batting .518 with 57 hits, 62 runs and 46 RBIs. She has also picked up 14 doubles, seven triples and 13 home runs on the season so far.
