MAY’S LICK — Timothy Coblentz, 54, of May’s Lick passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 15, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Tim was born in Hartville, Ohio on Aug. 13, 1965, son of Chris Coblentz of May’s Lick and the late Sarah Coblentz. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Survivors other than his father are his wife of 34 years, Sara Etta Schmidt Coblentz. Eight children, Matthew Coblentz, Christina Coblentz, Sara Joann Coblentz all of May’s Lick, Malinda Hostetler of Salmon, Id., Rosetta Schrock, Mari Anna Coblentz, Marc Coblentz and Timothy Coblentz Jr., all of May’s Lick; 10 grandchildren; four sisters, Christina Stutzman, Esther Mullet, Naomi Schmidt and Miriam Mast; a brother Daniel Coblentz.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and a daughter, Susanna Marie Coblentz; and a brother, David Coblentz.

Tim was a blessing to so many. May he rest in peace with the one he loves the most Jesus Christ his Savior.

Services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2020. at the Scenic View School in May’s Lick.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the school.

Burial will follow in the May’s Lick Amish Cemetery. Attendees are encouraged to be mindful and respectful of all guidelines set in place to meet the updated requirements for funeral and memorial services. More information on these guidelines may be found at www.fdaofky.com
