FLEMINGSBURG — Mervin R. Yoder, 72, of Maysville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2019, at his residence.
Born on Feb. 6, 1947, in Adams County, Indiana, he was the son of the late Truman E. and Rose E. Schwartz Yoder.
Mr. Yoder is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Christner Yoder: sons, Mark M. (Martha) Yoder, Mahlon M. (Emily) Yoder and Dave M. (Laura) Yoder; daughters, Esther (Eli) Schwartz, Rose (Ben) Eicher, Barbara (Atlee) Schwartz, Ann (Levi) Eicher, Rhoda (Levi) Schwartz, Malinda (Alvin) Stambright, Wilma (Michael) Schmidt, Ruby (Joseph) Schwartz, Verna (Nathen) Esh and Suzanne Yoder; 89 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; brother, Wilson Yoder; and sisters, Edna Schwartz, Elizabeth Troyer, Emma Wickey and Ida Schwartz.
Mr. Yoder was preceded in death by his son, Mervin Yoder; daughter, Rebecca Eicher; one granddaughter; and three brothers.
Services will be at 9 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019, at his residence with Noah Miller officiating.
Mr. Yoder will be laid to rest in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
