MAY’S LICK — Lori Beth Humphrey Shields, 38, of Norton, Kan. passed away on April 7, 2019.
Lori was born in Maysville on Jan. 15, 1981, to the late Mary Jacquelyn Gordon Humphrey and the late William (Billy) Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Theodore (Redney) and Mary Hurst Gordon; and paternal grandparents, Ollie M. and Mary Johnson Sr.; special nephew, William Edward Johnson Lofton; and special cousin, Billie Shawn Thomas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
She leaves to mourn her death, three beautiful children, Darius (age 14), EmMary (age 8) and Avery (age 3) Shields; sisters, Mary Noelle Humphrey of Flemingsburg, Billie Carol Johnson (Larry) Lofton of Lexington and Angelita Commodore of Lexington; brother, Deron Noel Johnson of Maysville; aunts, Mary (Rosebud) Johnson Dudley, Judith Carol Greene, Vonda Lofton, all of Maysville and Edna (Vincent) Thomas of Gahanna, Ohio; uncles, Theodore (Dorine) Gordon of Upper Marlboro, Md. and Ollie M. (Sambo) Johnson Jr. of Dayton, Ohio.
Homegoing services for Lori Beth will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019, at Bethel Baptist Church, 510 Forest Avenue, Maysville, KY with Pastor Terrance Taylor officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
