MAYSVILLE — Gary Paul Jackson, 59, of Maysville, passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at his residence.

Gary was a member of the Brooksville Baptist Church and was a Sales and Service Technician for 31 years and retired from Silco Fire and Security and was an ordained Deacon in the Baptist faith.

He was born in Maysville on Jan. 15, 1959, the son of the late Robert Howe Jackson and Ruby Colville Hill.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Bernice Applegate Jackson; his daughter, Amanda Ann Jones (Tandy); and his son, William Robert Jackson, all of Maysville; a special niece, Tina Boling; his grandchildren, Kristen Nicole Jackson, Justin Keith Jones, Jonathan Alexander Jones and Gera Jo Jones; brothers, Donnie Jackson and James Jackson; sisters, Linda Goff and Mary Ann Morgan; numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, William Robert Jackson Jr.; one brother, Robert Dale Jackson; and three sisters, Lucy Boling, Barbara Jean Hunt and Sandy Jackson.

Services for Gary Jackson will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, with Brother Tony Cox officiating.

Burial will follow in the Washington Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tandy Jones, Greg Boling, Wayne Pollitt, Jeremy Applegate, Darren Applegate and Bradley Bradford. Larren Applegate will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service.
