MRS. DEARING

MAYSVILLE | Mable E. Dearing, 75, resident of Fleming County, died at Fleming County Hospital on Jan. 22, 2013.

She was born in Maysville on July 9, 1937, the daughter of the late Carl and Nellie Beckett Evans.

Mrs. Dearing is survived by her husband of 55 years, Marvin C. Dearing; and her children, Marvin L. (Glenda) Dearing of Ripley, Lois Miller of Fleming County, Perry (Linda) Dearing of Fleming County, Janet (Peasie) Fields of Maysville, and Mike (Tammy) Dearing of Northern Kentucky; and stepdaughters, Brenda, Libby and Helen. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, Chris Shelton, Marvin G. Dearing, Eric Dearing, Scotty Dearing, Stephanie Browning, Brandi Dearing, Jason Dearing, Daniel Dearing, T.J. Roberts, Tracy Dotson, Carl Dearing, Marvin Dearing, Zach Fields and Chris Fields; and 24 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by one brother, George Evans; two sisters, Rena Calvert and Myrtle Doyle; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one stepson, Tommy Dearing;  her sisters, Bessie, Isabelle, Nellie Evans, Helen Poe and Minnie Hayslip; and brothers, Russell, Earl, Charlie, James and Lewis Evans.

Services for Mable Dearing will be Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at 1 p.m., at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.

Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.
