Amber Elizabeth Hargett and Jonathan William Kleefeld of Portland, Ore., are announcing their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The couple will be married Oct. 12 in the Portland Classical Chinese Garden.
Amber is the daughter of Joana Mains of Crestview Hills and David Hargett of Dover. She is also the granddaughter of Raymond Mains of Augusta and the late Erma Mains and Mary Margaret Hargett, also of Augusta, and the late William Hargett.
Jonathan is the son of Barbara and Robert Kleefeld of Oxford, Ohio. He is also the grandson of Stanley and Margaret Mielecki and William and Ellen Kleefeld.
