WEST UNION, Ohio — Six people were sentenced recently by Judge Brett Spencer in the Adams County Court of Common Pleas.

Anthony Wesley, 42, of South Shore, was convicted of fifth-degree trafficking heroin and fifth-degree trafficking cocaine. On Feb. 19, Spencer sentenced Wesley to 12 months on count one, and 12 months on count two, two years in total, with the option of three years parole with 297 days credit. Wesley was fined $250, and shall submit DNA testing. Wesley is currently incarcerated in the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, Ohio.

Stephanie Holsinger, 43, of Blue Creek, Ohio, was convicted of fourth-degree theft. On Feb. 19, Spencer sentenced Holsinger to 15 months in prison, with the option of three years parole, with 60 days credit. Restitution already paid in full; shall submit DNA testing. Holsinger is currently incarcerated in the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville, Ohio.

Christopher Young, 34, of West Union, was convicted of fifth-degree aggravated possession of drugs. On Feb. 18, Spencer sentenced Young to one year in prison, with the option of three years parole with 24 days credit. Young is fined $250, cash bond shall be released less than 10 percent; shall submit DNA testing. Young is currently incarcerated in the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, Ohio.

Harold Bennet, 47, of Blue Creek, Ohio, was convicted of third-degree having weapon under disability. On Feb. 18, Spencer sentenced Bennett to two years community control, six months intensive supervision program, 160 hours of community service, with a $1500 fine. Bennett will have AA or NA meetings weekly. Forfeiture of firearms; shall submit DNA testing.

John Passmore, 44, of Peebles, Ohio, was convicted of fifth-degree aggravated possession of drugs. On Feb. 19, Spencer sentenced Passmore to 11 months in prison plus 897 days for parole, with the option of three years parole, 128 days credit, and a $500 fine; shall submit DNA testing. Passmore is currently incarcerated in the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, Ohio.

Bryan L. Bradford, 46, of West Union, Ohio, was convicted of third-degree having weapon under disability. On Feb. 19, Spencer sentenced Bradford to 30 months in prison, with the option of three years parole, with 87 days credit; shall submit DNA testing. Bradford is currently incarcerated in the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, Ohio.

Micah Parker, 20, of West Union, Ohio, was arrested on capias with 10 percent bond forfeited, reverts to $10,000 cash or surety bond; forfeiture of bond minus 10 percent processing fee. Parker is placed in custody of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

On Feb. 14, Joseph Nesbitt, 30, of Peebles, Ohio, tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine. His 10 percent bond was revoked, reverts to $10,000 cash or surety bond. Nesbitt was placed in the custody of the Adams County Sheriff’s’s Office.
