Noelle is a gorgeous girl who is ready for her fur-ever home. She is very friendly, loves snuggles, adores kids, and enjoys being near her person while receiving pets. This girl is also one smart cookie who already knows some commands, including “sit” and “paw.” She is treat-motivated and eager to learn! Noelle has not joined playgroups yet but gets along well with other dogs during leashed walks. She is also crate trained and keeps her kennel clean.

Noelle came to the shelter as a stray and was not reclaimed by her owner. This sweetheart deserves a fur-ever home before the holidays. If you can provide a loving home for her, scan the QR code beside her picture and apply to adopt her now!

Rock 4 Rescue is an all-volunteer organization with 501c3 non-profit status that has partnered with Mason County Animal Shelter to bolster their lifesaving efforts. Thanks to your generosity and support, Rock 4 Rescue was able to expand its mission in 2025!

The organization accomplished the following for the Mason County Animal Shelter dogs and other at-risk pets in Mason County: paid for emergency veterinary care, provided vaccinations and dewormer for cats in a local rescue, spayed and neutered several dozen dogs and a few cats, assisted with the vaccination and rescue of over 20 cats in need, paid adoption fees, provided heartworm tests and microchips for shelter dogs, coordinated and volunteered at shelter dog meet and greet events, put together parade floats featuring shelter dogs, participated in the Buffalo Trace Stampede with shelter dogs, and held the 3rd annual Maysville Mutt Strutt and 4th annual Rock 4 Rescue benefit concert, raising funds for the shelter dogs and other community pets in need. The Rock 4 Rescue board and volunteers cannot thank the Mason County community enough for all the support!

Special thanks goes out to Rock 4 Rescue’s 2025 sponsors:

MCAS needs more volunteers and foster homes! You can foster a dog for as long as you like — a few hours or a “Doggo Day Out,” a weekend, a few weeks, or longer. Volunteers can help in many ways, including walking dogs, grooming or bathing dogs, helping with playgroups, transporting, or helping at meet-and-greet events out in the community. If you want to become an MCAS volunteer and/or fosterer or sponsor a dog’s adoption fees, please call the shelter at 606-564-6067 or email animalshelter@masoncountykentucky.us.
