Three indicted in Robertson County

MOUNT OLIVET — Three people were recently indicted by a Robertson County grand jury.

Jesse Edmund Wilson was indicted on one count tampering with a witness and one count first-degree being a persistent felony offender.

According to the indictment, on Oct. 14, 2019, Wilson allegedly “induced or attempted to induce a witness to absent herself or otherwise avoid appearing or testifying at an official proceeding with intent to influence the outcome thereby or knowingly made any false statement or practiced any fraud or deceit with intent to affect the testimony of said witness.”

Brandon Scott Northcutt was indicted on one count first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), one count possession of drug paraphernalia, one count public intoxication (controlled substance), one count endangering the welfare of a minor, one count second-degree wanton endangerment and one count failure to notify address change to department of transportation.

According to the indictment, on July 20, 2019, Northcutt was allegedly caught with methamphetamine in his possession after having been previously convicted of importing heroin in Campbell County and trafficking marijuana in Robertson County.

The indictment also said Northcutt allegedly “engaged in conduct which created a substantial danger of physical injury to (a minor).”

Gary Bernard Branham Jr. was indicted on one count first-degree bail jumping and on count second-degree being a persistent felony offender.

According to the indictment, Branham allegedly failed to appear in Robertson County Circuit Court on Sept. 9.
