Recognizing Residents’ Rights Month

On Friday, Oct. 24, the Buffalo Trace Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living welcomed individuals and long-term care residents to the Maysville Community and Technical College to recognize Residents’ Rights Month.

Mason County receives thousands of books for miniature libraries

A large number of books have made their way to Mason County, thanks to a grant from the Lexington Rotary Club.

MPD hosts animal cruelty and fighting investigation training

On Thursday, Nov. 20, the Maysville Police Department (MPD) will host a class teaching law enforcement officers about animal cruelty and animal fighting investigations. During the course, the MPD, Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), Mason County Attorney’s Office and Humane World for Animals will learn from other law enforcement officers how to best be equipped to handle these types of cases.

MOUNT OLIVET — According to a letter sent on Thursday, Oct. 9, Terry Gray has resigned from his position as Robertson County Sheriff.

The Office of Gov. Andy Beshear and the Office of the General Counsel have issued a letter to Robertson County Sheriff Terry Gray asking that he tender his resignation within five days.
