At their June 12 meeting, the Ripley Union Lewis Huntington Board of Education recently recognized Southern Hills Community Bank for their strong support of the district’s schools.

Southern Hills Bank representatives JoAnna Dugan and Linda Beckelhimer were presented with a framed certificate of recognition from the Ohio School Board Association and the RULH Board of Education.

The Southern Hills Community Bank was honored as part of the Ohio School Boards Association’s (OSBA) 2019 Business Honor Roll program.

The program gives school districts a way to say “thanks” to local businesses and recognize them for their valuable contributions to schools.

OSBA provides personalized certificates to present to businesses as well as a resource kit to help school districts with their recognition activities.

“Southern Hills Community Bank is a strong supporter of RULH Schools,” RULH Board President Jeff Cluxton said. “Some examples of their contributions include donating funds that were used to purchase a new score table for the high school gym, advertising throughout the district, donating school supplies and funding student activities. RULH School District and its students, board members, administrators and staff would like to express their sincere appreciation for all that they do for the children of our community.”
