GEORGETOWN, Ohio – Two people were recently sentenced in Brown County Common Pleas Court.

Danielle R. Campbell was sentenced to two years in the Ohio Department of Corrections with the first 120 days being mandatory after pleading guilty to one count of fourth-degree felony OVI. Campbell was indicted on two counts of OVI on March 27.

Along with her prison sentence, Campbell may be considered for judicial release into the STAR program at an appropriate time, according to Judge Scott T. Gusweiler. Driver’s license suspension for three years to life, alcohol and drug treatment, special plates, guardian interlock and a mandatory fine are also being considered.

Mark Daniel Royalty was sentenced to two years of community control sanctions after pleading guilty to one count of fifth-degree attempted domestic violence.

Royalty was indicted on fourth-degree domestic violence and third-degree felony abduction charges on Jan. 5. His charge was amended to the attempted domestic violence charge, according to his sentence.

For the duration of his probation, Royalty will be under general supervision and control of the Adult Probation Department and will undergo counseling and treatment as directed by the Adult Probation Department, which will include anger management classes.
