GEORGETOWN, Ohio – Three people were sentenced recently in Brown County Common Pleas Court.
Eric Dickerson was sentenced to one year in Ohio prison after pleading guilty to one count of third-degree felony failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer with a forfeiture of property specification. Dickerson was indicted on the charge on Sept. 21, 2017.
According to his sentence, Dickerson will have his driver’s license suspended for life with the first three years being mandatory along with his one-year prison sentence. He will also be required to forfeit any interest in a 1998 Ford Mustang.
Irvin Ralph Croswait was sentenced to two years of community control sanctions after pleading guilty to one count of fifth-degree felony permitting drug use. Croswait was indicted on the charge on Jan. 25.
According to his sentence, Croswait will be under general supervision and control of the Adult Probation Department for the duration of his parole.
John Hart was sentenced to two years of community control sanctions after pleading guilty to one count of fifth-degree felony unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Hart was indicted on the above charge as well as one count of fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property on Feb. 22. The second count was dismissed in court.
For the duration of his community control, Hart will be under general supervision of the Adult Parole Department.
