The 10th Region Girls Basketball Coaches Association has announced its 2020 Hall of Fame Class.

Inductees will be honored during the 10th Region Championship game at halftime on March 7.

Here’s a brief rundown of each inductee:

Players

Jordan Doram — Harrison County, 2007-14

Doram was a dominant post player for the Fillies during her career. She amassed career totals of 2,270 points, 1,483 rebounds, 318 blocks and 95 steals. Voted second team all-region in 2010, first team all-region from 2011-14. Continued her playing career at Campbellsville University, selected first team all-conference junior and senior seasons.

Sumika Alexander: Mason County, 1996-2000

Alexander led the Lady Royals to a district championship each year she was in uniform and helped the team amass an 82-30 record over those four years. She finished her career with 1,197 points, good for 12th all-time in the Lady Royals program, also compiled 895 rebounds and 422 assists during her career.

Kelsey Pugh — Pendleton County, 2007-11

A key member to the 2009-10 LadyCat team that won 19 games and the district title for the first time in 20 years. Pugh scored 1,185 points and recorded 503 career rebounds. At her graduation, she held the team record for most free throw attempts in a season (274) and career (672) and most free throw made in a season (183) and career (438). Named first team all-region for one season and honorable mention all-region for two seasons. Continued her playing career at Kentucky Christian University for two seasons prior to going to nursing school.

Coach

Janie Robinson — Montgomery County, 2007-15

Robinson was the head coach at Bath County from 1992-99 (a member of the 10th region until the 1996-97 season). She led the LadyCats to the 10th Region All “A” Classic championship on two occasions during that time. Her record at Bath County was 73-69 with a record of 41-30 while a member of the 10th region.

While the head coach at Montgomery County, Robinson led the Indians to a record of 168-90. The Lady Indians won five 10th region championships in a six-year period from 2008-13. Additionally, Montgomery County was the 40th District champion on four (4) occasions during her tenure. She was selected as KABC region coach of the year in 2008 and ‘09.

Robinson was an assistant for Hall of Famer John High from 2002-07. During those five seasons, the Lady Indians had a record of 138-49, won the 40th District championship four times and were 10th region champions three times.

Veteran’s Committee

Kasey Litzinger Salyers — Mason County, 2003-08

Helped lead the Lady Royals to four district titles and three region runner-up finishes during her career. Scored 1,572 points, which is sixth all-time for the Lady Royals. Also averaged five rebounds and two assists per game while shooting over 30% behind the 3-point line for her career.

Penny McKenzie — Bath County, 1975-77

The first member of the 1,000 point club for the LadyCats, McKenzie was recognized as third team all-state in 1975. She was also voted honorable mention all-state the following two seasons in ‘76 and ‘77.

Lisa Frey Stephenson — Maysville, 1975-79

Scored 1,120 points over five seasons at Maysville High School which is good for third all-time. Helped lead Maysville to a district title and four region tournament appearances. Named honorable mention all-state in 1979.

Anya Hawkins — Bourbon County
