LADY ROYALS BASKETBALL CAMP

Mason County will be holding their girls’ basketball camp from May 28-30 at Mason County Intermediate School from 9 a.m.-noon. The camp is for girls’ entering grades 1-6 and cost is $50 per camper and $25 for each additional camper. Make checks or money orders payable to: Lady Royals Basketball. Each camper will receive a t-shirt, daily snack, certificate of participation, chances to win prizes/awards, quality instruction from camp staff and station work. The purpose of the camp is to introduce, improve, and reinforce the fundamental skills of basketball. There will also be competition among campers for prizes as well as league games. The camp is broken down into age groups to create maximum opportunity for instruction & repetition. PAT FAY MEMORIAL GOLF SCRAMBLE

The Pat Fay Memorial Golf Scramble will be Friday, June 7 at Laurel Oaks Golf Club. The scramble begins at 1 p.m., with lunch beginning at 12 p.m. Schumacher Insurance Agency will sponsor a hole in one contest with a $10,000 prize and US Bank will sponsor a 60-foot putting contest with a $5,000 prize. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place teams, and there will be male and female prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin. The cost is $65 per person. MAYSVILLE COUNTRY CLUB TENNIS CLINICS

Advanced and intermediate tennis clinics will be held Tuesday’s and Thursday’s throughout the summer from June 4-August 1. The clinics are for ages 8-18 from 9-11 a.m. at the Maysville Country Club. Instructors are Clay Boone, Matt Jolley and Megan Dixon. Warm-up drills, movement, training exercises, match drills, stroke development and games will be emphasized. The fee is $10 per session. The mission is to provide students and members with a tennis experience that maximizes performance and increases enjoyment of the game. To accomplish this, they’ll provide a high-energy learning environment that is safe, positive and most of all fun. Checks can be made payable on site. SUMMER TENNIS PROGRAM

The summer tennis program at the Mason County Rec Park for grades 3-12 will take place June 5-July 31 on Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Cost is $10 for each session instructed by Clay Boone and Matt Jolley. 2019 MASON COUNTY TENNIS CAMP

Will be June 24-28 for advanced and intermediate players. Time of the camp runs from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. for ages 8-18. The camp will take place at the Mason County Rec park and cost is $75. Instructors will be Clay Boone, Matt Jolley and Kevin Fulton. Warm-up drills, movement, training exercises and match drills will all take place, also stroke development and games.
