OVM Hosts Halloween 5K
Ohio Valley Manor (OVM) will be hosting its first Halloween 5K Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, October 27, in downtown Ripley. OVM is encouraging participants to embrace the spooky spirit of the Halloween 5K and will present medals for Best Times and awards for Best Costume. On Race Day, OVM will also be holding a Canned Food Drive with proceeds donated to our local Community Food Bank. The money raised will benefit individuals facing financial hardship as a result of an unexpected emergency. HOSA COLOR 5K RUN/WALK
The 2018 HOSA Color 5K Run/Walk will take place Nov. 10 at 8 a.m. Registration begins at 7 a.m. at the Trace Creek Construction parking lot. The entry fee is $20 if registered before the early registration deadline on Oct. 20 and $25 after Oct. 20. The registration form can be dropped off at FMCTC or mailed to FMCTC HOSA P.O. Box 99, Vanceburg, KY. Everyone will receive a shirt. There are eight age divisions for the run, with medals for first and second place in each age division, as well as for the top male and female overall finishers.
