CHS FBLA DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT
The Fleming County High School Future Business Leaders of America will host a dodgeball tournament on Saturday, Sept. 22, at Fleming County High School. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and supports the FCHS FBLA’s trip to the National Fall Leadership Conference in Chicago. Team’s will be six players and the team entrance fee is $40. Team fees and entry forms are due to the FCHS office by Sept. 19. There will be no on-site sign ups. Make checks payable to FCHS FBLA. OVM Hosts Halloween 5K
Ohio Valley Manor (OVM) will be hosting its first Halloween 5K Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, October 27, in downtown Ripley. OVM is encouraging participants to embrace the spooky spirit of the Halloween 5K and will present medals for Best Times and awards for Best Costume. On Race Day, OVM will also be holding a Canned Food Drive with proceeds donated to our local Community Food Bank. The money raised will benefit individuals facing financial hardship as a result of an unexpected emergency.
