ABERDEEN, Ohio – Frank Stitt, 73, passed away Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.

Frank was born on Dec. 14, 1944, in Mason County to the late Milton and Edna Hill Stitt.

He was retired from UPS where he worked for 31 years as a delivery driver.

Frank’s memory will never be forgotten. He was a friend to all and always wore a welcoming smile. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and was always just a phone call away. Frank never met a stranger; anywhere he went he knew someone. His love for God and gospel music was evident in his life.

He dearly adored his loving wife, Dollie and loved his nieces and nephews as though they were his own. He loved everyone, but his wife and nieces and nephews were his pride and joy in life. He took them on all of his fun adventures. Frank always made sure that the children always had food, clothes, a good education and a warm safe place to stay. He took time out of his day to teach each child valuable life lessons that each one still uses today. He was an angel that was sent just for us and we will be forever grateful.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Dollie Combess Stitt; two nieces, Michelle Ishmael and Raven Duncan; and three nephews, Troy Combess, Tony Combess and Matthew Leonard.

Services for Frank Stitt will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday at the Maysville Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Marilyn Roades officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mays Lick Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brell and Son Funeral Home.
