MAYSVILLE — Laura Elnora Kearns, 89, of Maysville, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2020 under the care of Hospice at her residence.
She was born on July 31, 1930 in Fleming County to the late John E. Turner and Jenny Gardner Turner.
She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Lewisburg, the Maysville Lioness Club and a former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Elnora retired from Wald Manufacturing after 31 years of service.
Elnora enjoyed 58 years of marriage to the late William Douglas Kearns, who died Jan. 17, 2010.
She is survived by two daughters, Billie Jean Planck of Maysville, and Patty (Randy) Moore of Ellsberry, Ohio; son, David (Debra) Kearns of Ellsberry; four grandchildren, Robert Planck, Stephanie (Dave) Rioux, Nikki Moore, Sarah (Cody) Hall; and nine great-grandchildren, Caitlyn (Nicholas) Gallenstein, Tyler (Kasey Gabbard) Planck, Dalton Kearns, Kylan Planck, Kyndall Sutton, Kingston Rioux, Colton Planck, Karter Rioux and Samuel Hall. A sister-in-law, Norma Turner; and a close friend, Norma Kearns also survive her.
Her beloved siblings preceding her in death are Beulah Meadows, Helen Sanders, Catherine Hickerson and James Turner.
Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15 at Brell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Manning officiating.
Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle. Serving as pallbearers will be David Kearns, Randy Moore, Robert Planck, Tyler Planck, Kenny Meadows and Larien Kearns. Honorary pallbearers will be Stephanie Rioux, Nikki Moore, Sarah Kearns, Tim Moore, Kylan Planck and Colton Planck.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of her service.
