MAYSVILLE — Leonard F. Johnson, 81, of Ewing, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, at his home under the care of Hospice of Hope.
Mr. Johnson was born in Bracken County on Nov. 29, 1937, to the late John F. and Josephine Mains Johnson.
He was the owner/operator of Johnson Milk Transporting. He also served in the Army Reserves, was a member and deacon of Brooksville Christian Church, and a volunteer at Fleming County Senior Citizens.
He is survived by his wife, Louella Joyce Johnson, whom he married Dec. 28, 1958; and their children, Randy (Ruby) Johnson of May’s Lick, Tony (Rhonda Dugan) Johnson of Flemingsburg, Jody (Tina) Johnson of Ewing; and foster daughter, Margie Peck of Huntington, W.Va. He is also survived by his siblings, Leoma (Jim) Clos, Donnie Johnson and Bobby (Linda) Johnson, all of Brooksville.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Crystal Tester; and his siblings, Ruby McClanahan and Loraine Bruin.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Maysville.
Burial will be in the Wedonia Cemetery in Fleming County.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
