MAYSVILLE — Donna Ginn Sapp, 81, of Maysville, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Sapp was a member of the Olivet United Methodist Church, a graduate of Orangeburg High School and was involved with the Orangeburg Alumni. She had served as a former employee at the following businesses, Clyde’s Super Value, US Shoe, Jockey International, Bluegrass Satellite and Dravo.
Donna was born in Mason County on March 22, 1938, the daughter of the late Forrest and Helen McDaniel Ginn.
She is survived by her son, John Thomas (Marilyn) of Maysville; her two daughters, Rhonda Toller of Maysville and Robyn McCann of Tollesboro; her two stepsons, Tony Sapp (Vicki) of Maysville and Randy Sapp (Robin) of West Chester, Ohio; grandchildren, Kayla Highfield (Jason), Ben McCann (Jessica), Renae Montieth (Jason), Josh Thomas (Andrea), Noah Thomas, Adam Sapp (Becky), Ryan Sapp, Reed Sapp (Ariel) and Reagan Sapp; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Connor Montieth, Jayla and Carriann Highfield, Bryson and Maci McCann, Gracie and Sophie Thomas, Tabitha, Talynn, Trynlee and Kinley Sapp; brother-in-law, John H. Thomas Jr. (Joyce) and sister-in-law, Sandy McCord (Eddie), both of Maysville; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gayle Thomas; and her second husband, Elbert Luther Sapp; her two brothers, Valoran “Buck” Ginn and Forrest “Tiny” Ginn; and a sister-in-law, Dottie Ginn.
Services for Donna Ginn Sapp will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019 with Rev. Kent Moore and Rev. Sam Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be Ben McCann, Jason Highfield, Jason Montieth, Josh Thomas, Dwayne McCann and Mark “Stick” Browning.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service.
