MAYSVILLE — Charles “Butch” Barnoski, age 76, lifelong resident of Maysville, died June 16, 2019, at the Hospice of Hope Care Center after an extended illness.

Born in Mason County on June 24, 1942, he was the son of the late Marian Ratler Gillespie and the late Edward Barnoski.

Butch was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Linda Keyser Barnoski.

Butch enjoyed working at every job he had including working at WFTM, Maysville Cable, Ohio cable, and East Kentucky Power Plant where he worked as an Electrician.

Butch and his wife, Linda spent many years as foster parents and special needs foster parents. He loved working, spending time with family and friends and cooking. After his wife’s passing he dedicated all his time taking care of Jimmy. He was always concerned about other people and their needs.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan (Anthony) Fulton of Ewing; and sons, Chuck (Ann) Barnoski of Ewing, Steve (Linda Sills-Brown) of Hawaii, Bill (Michelle) Barnoski of Tollesboro and Jimmy Barnoski that lived with him in Maysville; grandchildren, Crystal (Eric) Hay, Preston Vinson, Daniel Vinson of Ewing, Josh (Tayna) Fulton of Maysville, Andrew (Katy) Fulton of Maysville, Heather (Jarrod Wells) Barnoski of Cincinnati, Kayla (Clayton) England of Germantown, Courtney Barnoski and Cody Barnoski of Tollesboro; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Benjamin Hay, Jonah Fulton, Kade Fulton, Carly Fulton, Olivia Doyle, Emily Maddox, Carson Maddox, Tatum Wells, Allison Wells, Delaney England; a sister, Debbie Campbell of LA California, along with many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday June 20, 2019, at Saint Patrick Church, in Maysville with Rev. Andrew Young as Celebrant.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Fulton, Clayton England, Jarrod Wells, Cody Barnoski, Preston Vinson and Daniel Vinson.

Visitation will be at Brell and Son Funeral Home Wednesday June 19, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. with vigil prayers at 7:45 p.m.
