MOUNT OLIVET — Dellyn Ann “Sissy” Purdon, 62, a former resident of Maysville and a resident of Robertson County Nursing home since 2013, passed away Saturday June 8, 2019.

Ms. Purdon was born Jan. 17, 1957, in Maysville to Evelyn Smith Atherton of Mount Olivet and the late D.R. Purdon. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Nativity in Maysville and attended Bridgeway Workshop for many years.

Survivors include her mother, Evelyn; a sister, Cadi (Scott) Tucker of Mount Olivet; nephew, William (Ashley Beckett) Thomas Tucker; nieces, Angela Ross, Annlyn Purdon, and Madison Taylor; great nieces, Kayla and Maddie Ross; and a great nephew, Jensen Thomas Tucker.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandparents William and Bea Smith and Clarence and Oma Purdon; aunt Beulah Crawford; uncle Clarence Purdon; and her brother Linden Thomas Purdon.

Services for Dellyn Ann Purdon will be held at 11 a.m., June 11, 2019 at Church of the Nativity, Maysville with Rev. Roxanne Ruggles as celebrant.

Burial will follow in Maysville and Mason County Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
