FLEMINGSBURG — David Roger Prather, 75, of Hilltop, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at his home.

Born in Fleming County on March 9, 1944, he was the son of the late Bill Watson and Edith Dunaway Logan.

For 30 years Roger worked at Randall’s (A. Raymond Tinnerman). He was a member of Local Union 783 out of Louisville. In his younger days he worked at gas stations and race tracks while living in Indianapolis. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and being in the woods.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Lynn Hunt and husband, Rocky; his brother, Donnie Logan and wife, Elaine; his brother, Darrell Logan and wife, Diane; his brother, Willard Logan and wife, Estella; his sister, Judy Litzler and husband, Charles; his sister, Joyce Story and husband, Pat; and his sister, Janet Marshall and husband, Bootie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Ethel Dunaway.

Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, May 4, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Boling officiating.

Roger will be laid to rest in Muses Mill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service, Saturday, at the funeral home.
