MAYSVILLE — Rufus Deion Jackson, 47, of Maysville died April 19, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Jackson was born in Maysville on Oct. 6, 1971.
He is survived by his two daughters, Destiny Jackson of Louisville, and Kelsey Jackson of Maysville; two grandchildren; by his ten siblings, Greffrey Rice, George Jackson, Jr., Jeremiah Jackson, Barry Gibbs, Timothy Whaley, Joellen Jones, Ida Mae Nelson, Mary Taylor, Betty McClain and Lisa Bennett; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Jackson Sr., his mother who raised him, Lillian Gibbs and his natural mother, Mary Elizabeth Steward Jackson.
A memorial service for Rufus Jackson will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2019 with Rev. James Custard officiating.
His cremains will be interred in the May’s Lick Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from noon until the hour of the service.
