AUGUSTA — William A. Baker, 66, passed away on the 23rd day of August, 2018. He was under Hospice Care.

He was born on June 29, 1952, to the late Lloyd and Mary Elizabeth Baker.

He is survived by two brothers, Lewis F. (Lori) Baker of Florida, and John M. (Patricia) Baker of North Carolina, as well as two sisters, Mary Katherine (Brian) Stoker of Mount Olivet, and Margaret (Rick) Youngman of Maysville. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Ronald Cox who lives in Nevada.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Daniel Baker; and a sister, Nora Lee Cox.

Mr. Baker has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 1 p.m., at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Augusta.

Anyone wishing to meet with the family can do so between 11 a.m.-1 p.m., on the day of the memorial service.

Memorials may be made to the Echo Hall Restoration Effort, the Augusta Independent Educational Foundation, or Hospice of Hope.
