MAYSVILLE — Ms. Pamela K. Gallagher, 62, of Maysville, passed away Monday, Aug. 13 at her home after a long history of cardiovascular and respiratory illness.

Ms. Gallagher was a graduate of MCTC where she earned a degree in business. She was an assistant manager at G.C. Murphy for 20 years and an invoice clerk with Walmart for over 20 years. Pam spent her retirement working for the local Amish community, doing genealogy research and spoiling her grandchildren.

Pam was born in Mason County on Jan. 15, 1956, and was the eldest of three daughters to Mary Maxine Bellamy Gallagher and the late Romey A. Gallagher.

Pam is survived by her children, Heather (Wayne) Lewis and Blake (Jessica) Smith; her mother, Mary Maxine Gallagher; her sisters, Carole Gallagher Fornshell and Lori (Bill) Lawson; her grandchildren, Ian Lewis, India Lewis, Waylyn Smith, Drayden Browning and Brazen Hamm; and her ex-husband, Gary Smith. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces, Madison Stewart and Alden Lawson, Eric Parks and Edith Paucar, Ava, Ethan and Anais Parks, Nathan, Martha and Carole Ann Parks, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

In accordance with Ms. Gallagher’s wishes, in place of funeral services and graveside services there will be a private family memorial.
