MAYSVILLE — Mary Joyce Breckenridge, 73, of Maysville, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash facility.
Ms. Breckenridge was a member of the Maysville Community Lighthouse. She formerly worked at Wald’s Manufacturing, the Carnation Can and she retired from Browning’s Manufacturing Company and then worked as a nurse aid for Ohio Valley Manor.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1944, the daughter of the late Russell and Mamie Lee Connors Thomas.
Survivors include her four children, Robert “Bruce” Thomas and Charles “Junebug” Breckenridge, both of Cincinnati, Keith Thomas Sr. (Rita) of Lexington and Gwendolyn Sparks (Kevin) of Maysville; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; three brothers, John Thomas and Vincent Thomas of Columbus, Ohio and Mitchell Thomas of Maysville; two sisters, Connie Warner of Cincinnati and Deborah Hughes of Maysville; a special niece, Peggy Corde of Maysville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Russell Thomas and Edward Noah Thomas; and sisters, Julia Perry and Escaleta Lofton.
Services for Mary Breckenridge will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at noon Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, with Pastor Chris Neal and Pastor John Dodson officiating.
Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.
