MAYSVILLE — Lori Allison Fossitt Cooper, 46, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2018 at the UC Medical Center.
She was born on April 17, 1972 to Glenda Moran Smith of Aberdeen, Ohio and the late Donald C. Fossitt.
She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jason Cooper, whom she married June 16, 2000; two sons, Morgan Blake Fossitt and Cameron Chase Cooper; her stepfather, Guy V. Smith; a brother, Tim Fossitt of Maysville; a sister, Angie Fossitt Breeze of Maysville; a brother-in-law, Rodney (Crystal) Cooper; four nieces, Maggie Morgan, Allison Breeze, Amanda Smith and Mollie Smith; and a nephew, Grant Smith.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Clay and Evelyn Fossitt; maternal grandparents, Omar and Audrey Moran; her father and mother-in-law, Judy and Susie Cooper; and her stepbrother, Guy V. Smith III.
Lori was dedicated to her two sons, Blake and Cameron, as well as her family. She was a talented cook and it brought her much joy to see others happy with the wonderful meals and desserts she would create. With her years of service as a nurse caring for others, Lori was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Lori’s contagious smile and her loving personality will live on forever in our hearts.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Maysville.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
