FLEMINGSBURG — Howard H. Robertson, age 82, of Nepton, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at Maysville Nursing and Rehab.

Born in Nepton on July 21, 1936, he was the son of the late David H. and Lois Hurst Robertson.

A 1954 graduate of Fleming County High School, Howard was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served three years in the far east and four and a half years with the European Theatre. After serving in the Air Force, Howard returned home and started farming and working at the rock quarry as a heavy equipment operator with Hanson Agrigates. Howard was also a member of Elizaville Christian Church, a member of the VFW and the American Legion, as well as FFA and 4-H.

He is survived by his stepdaughters, Tina (Greg) Henderer of Bethel, Ohio and Debra (Dennis) Seltsam of Grand Rivers, ; stepsons, Dennis (Evelyn) Mitchell of Lewis County, Steven Hinton of Fleming County; grandchildren, Keith (Stacey) Good, Kindyl Good, Stacia (Brent) Cockrell, Casey Hinton, Amber Walker, Joanne Huber, Joe Joe Chumbley, Eric Mitchell and Allen Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Remi Good, Brynlea Cockrell and Zane Cockrell.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Carol Kay Robertson and Shelvey Jean Earlywine Hinton Robertson; and a daughter, Libby Chumbley Pistachio.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 on pm Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at Elizaville Christian Church officiated by Bro. James Watkins and Bro. Randy Barker.

Burial of ashes will be in Elizaville Cemetery with Military Funeral Honors performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post number 5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post #1834.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
