FLEMINGSBURG — Marilyn Ruth Hunt Follmer, 73, of Elizaville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at Meadowview Regional Meadical Center.
Born on Oct. 28, 1944, in Fleming County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Pugh Hunt.
Marilyn worked as a seamstress for Bluegrass Industries. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women’s Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, William Donald “Bill” Follmer, a retired boilermaker; her grandchildren, Myranda Lytle and boyfriend, Shae Henderson, Martina Lytle, and Cara Spencer; her great grandchild, R.J.; and her brother, George Hunt and wife, Linda.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Marty Lytle.
Services will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 10, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Boling and Bro. Lloyd Hutchinson officiating.
Marilyn will be laid to rest in Maysville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 9, at the funeral home.
