MAYSVILLE — Jeff Carpenter, of Maysville, passed away on July 24 2018 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.

Jeff was born in Springfield, Ohio on Nov. 24, 1957 to the late Oval Carpenter and Elise Turner Carpenter Taulbee.

Jeff is survived by a daughter, Amanda; grandchild, Raylan Burkhart. He is also survived by his numerous half-siblings,nieces and nephews of Annville; and his fiance, and love of his life, Denise Allison. They had planned to marry and live in the cabin he built for them in Lewisburg. He is survived by Denise’s children, Wes and Shayla Allison, and Shayla’s fiance, Chuck Geise. He treated them as his own and was there for them anytime of the day. Shayla and Chuck were looking so forward for Jeff to be at their upcoming wedding. Wes and Shayla will both tell you he was a great influence in their lives. He also leaves behind three children, who called him Papaw Jeff and who loved him more than anything else in the world, Ashlyn and Carter Fulton and little Eleanor Geise. Also missing Jeff will be his little dog, Callie, who was with him everywhere he went.

Jeff had called Maysville his home for the last 10 years and had many friends in its area who are going to miss him, especially meeting at the Knotty Pine every morning for coffee. He also leaves wonderful friends, Jerry, Mike and Tom Lundergan of Lexington.

Jeff’s services were held in McKee on Sunday, July 29, 2018.

Burial was in the Seven Pines Cemetery.
