AUGUSTA — Debora Sue Cline Mains, 62, of Augusta, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at her residence.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 17 years, Gregory H. Mains.

Debora was born June 25, 1956, in Fort Thomas, to her parents, the late Eldon “Tom” and Erma Faye Cline. She was a graduate of Bracken County High School and started working at the Farmers Liberty Bank during high school. She continued working for the bank after graduation and then became the staff accountant for United Medical Resources in Cincinnati. A change in career direction came when she enrolled in the medical sonography program at Cincinnati State and after graduation she volunteered as a sonographer at Prolife clinics.

She then decided it was time to become a nurse and subsequently enrolled in the Maysville Community College registered nurse program. After graduation, she worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She loved to travel, garden, and go boating, but most of all she loved her nieces, nephews, brothers and sister. She was a member of the Germantown Christian Church and also attended the Concord United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind three brothers, Jeff (Becky) Cline of Foster, Stacy (LeAnn) Cline of Maysville and John (Kendra) Cline of Augusta; one sister, Jennifer (David) Kelsch of Augusta; her nieces and nephews, Brad Cline, Lacey Cline, Daniel Cline, Jonathon Cline, Jacob Kelsch, Jerica Kelsch, Nadia Cline and Eli Cline; and her mother-in-law, Margie Mains.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Harold Mains.

Services will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at the Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home in Augusta with Pastor Phil McMurin presiding.

Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Bladeston.

Visitation will be from 4:30-7 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
