MAYSVILLE — Anne Marie Ackley, 83, of Mud Lick, passed away Sunday July 8, 2018, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Facility.
She was the widow of Walter “Punk” Ackley. Prior to his death in 2015, they celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.
Anne was born in Washington on Sept. 6, 1934, to the late Earl Snapp and Mary Deadmond.
She was a retired clerk for the Cincinnati School of the Performing Arts, a member of the OWL Club and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her daughter, Cyndi (Kristie) Ackley of Versailles; her son, Thomas (Erika) Ackley of Georgetown, Ohio; grandchildren, Jeremy Thomas Ackley of Georgetown, and Sky, Addison and Emerson Morgan, all of Versailles; her sister, Mary Frances Hampton of Dover; and sisters-in-law, Barbara Grayson, Joy Ackley and Betty Snapp.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Robert Snapp, Betty Johnson and Sharon Deadmond; and her brothers-in-law, Otha Hampton and Harry Ackley.
Services for Anne Marie Ackley will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday July 12, 2018, at Brell and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Huffman officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m until the time of the service on Thursday.
