ELIZABETHTOWN — Timothy P. Davis, 70, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018, at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was a retired CAD designer from DP&L and from Defense Logistics Agency at Ft. Knox. Timothy was an Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam and was a member of the American Legion.
He was born May 18, 1948, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Ralph Stephen Davis Sr. and Marcella Stoik Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanie Sanders Davis; daughter, Kimberlie (William R.) Sparks of Fort Knox; grandchildren, Erika Sparks Blair (Derik) of Ekron, and Timothy J. Hill (Ashley) of Lexington; great-grandchildren, Dominik Blair, Alyssa Blair, William Hill and Leo Hill, siblings, Steve Davis, Mike Davis, Teresa Strayer, Jane Brown, Pat Davis, Matt Davis, Don Davis, Dan Davis and Tony Davis; and his father-in-law, William Sanders.
Besides his parents and mother-in-law, Betty Wilburn Sanders, Timothy was predeceased by his son, Billy Davis who died October 5, 1995.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Thursday July 5, 2018 at St. Patrick Church with Rev. Jacob Straub as Celebrant.
Burial with military honors will follow in Charter Oak Cemetery, Aberdeen, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday July 4, 2018 at Brell and Son Funeral Home
