MAYSVILLE — Charles E. Pollitt, 93, a resident of Stonelick Road, Maysville, died Monday, June 4, 2018, at the Hospice of Hope Care Center.

Mr. Pollitt retired from Montgomery and Ward, where he specialized as a Layout Manager of new stores. He was a graduate of Orangeburg High School. Charles was a native of Mason County, born on June 15, 1924, the son of the late Hobert and Lovell Seddon Pollitt.

He is survived by his nephew, David Meek; his niece, Lovell Knox; a cousin, Allen Pollitt; and a long-time friend, Jim McFarland, all of Maysville.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lucy Meek.

Graveside services for Charles Pollitt will be held at the Maysville Cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018, with Rev. Jerry Beck officiating.

There will be no visitation prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.

The arrangements are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
