ELIZAVILLE — Mr. Floyd Edward (Eddie) Jackson, 73, of Elizaville, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at his home.

He was born on Oct. 4, 1944, in Nicholas County to the late Lloyd P. Jackson and Pauline Curtis Jackson.

Eddie was an avid collector. He enjoyed old cars and caring for his yard.

He graduated with a Master’s Degree in education from Morehead State University. He retired as a career counselor from Maysville Vocational and Technical School. He also was previously employed as a consultant for the Kentucky Department of Education and as a guidance counselor at Montgomery County High School.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Jackson.

Survivors include his two sons, Michael Edward Jackson and Gregory Lynn Jackson; a brother, David (Diana) Jackson; and two nieces, Daviana (Darren) Green and Dana (Tim) Crump, all of Carlisle.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2018, in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Ben Tackett officiating.

Visitation at Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville will be from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018.
